“ We came here for my brother’s birthday and he enjoyed it. I got the Shrimp etouffee and the shrimp was very flavorful. My friend got the Shrimp and grits and we all agree, that was the best. We took the sausage out because we don’t eat pork and it didn’t take away from overall flavor. My brother got the steak and he said it was delicious. ”
“ I love me some Cajun/creole food. Let me tell you, I have not found a place to make authentic crawfish etoufee in years. It was sooo good. We also got the duck nachos, which were honestly a little lack-luster. They were six tortilla chips topped with duck and some kind of cream sauce, with the chimmichurri underneath. The chimmichurri was really good but without that the nachos were bland. My husband got the crawfish fettuccine which he said was amazing. We also both got a couple different drinks, but pictured is the big south margarita, the jeansboro mule, and the creole bourbon smash. All really good. The service was slow, not sure why, but wasn’t a huge deal. The place is very tight and cozy, we sat by the window and my back was against the reception desk (or whatever it’s called) which was unusual but was fine for me. They light a nice little candle on the table which is cute. Also, when trying to decide whether to order the etoufee, I asked her how spicy it was, and they brought out a sample! Never heard of a restaurant do that before which was really awesome. We didn’t do dessert, the only dessert options were banana pudding and bread pudding. But I’d definitely come back here again. ”
“ Visited for the first time before a show at Tanger and it did not disappoint! We had the gumbo, crab cakes, and banana pudding. Everything was absolutely delicious and good serving sizes. Our server was attentive and provided great drink recommendations. We'll be back to try more of the menu! ”
“ Upon entering the restaurant on Friday evening, my dining companion and I were immediately greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We began our culinary journey with an order of the Delta Ribs, which proved to be a tantalizing starter. The ribs possessed a unique flavor profile reminiscent of Asian barbecue, offering a delightful twist on a classic dish. For our main course, we opted for the Gumbo Yaya, a dish I wholeheartedly recommend to any patron. While not excessively spicy, the gumbo delivered a subtle yet satisfying kick, making it the perfect comfort food for a cold day. The nuanced heat added a layer of complexity to the dish without overpowering the palate. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the White Chocolate Pecan Bread Pudding. Although a delectable dessert in its own right, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of curiosity about the banana pudding, which I suspect may have been the superior choice. Overall, our dining experience was both satisfying and memorable. The establishment offers a diverse menu with dishes to please a variety of palates. I am eager to return and sample other culinary creations in the future. ”
“ The food was absolutely delicious and amazing! When I first arrived it took forever to be greeted even after having reservations. The server made up for it though! He was really nice and knows what he's doing. He had so many tablets alone and was handling them all. The shrimp and grits were the best ever. The bread pudding was delicious as well! Its small inside and I've never liked parking downtown. I've already told my friends about this place and I will be back! Bad parking or not, it's worth the fight lol. I can't remember the name of the dish my sister had but it was just amazing!!! I highly recommend this place! ”
“ Wonderful food. Some of the best I've ever had. Fantastic service. The etouffee was incredible. The boudin balls are a perfect appetizer. The service was incredible. The music choice was also awesome with a lot of great New Orleans artists like the Revival Brass Band and The Meters. ”
“ Blue Denim of Greensboro is an authentic Creole restaurant. The food served there is delicious oui, oui! It was our first time trying Creole cuisine in Greensboro, and we have already dined there twice. On both occasions, we received excellent service and enjoyed delicious food. Although it is not a large restaurant, the atmosphere is wonderful. We are looking forward to continuing to revisit the restaurant. ”
“ Blue Denim is such a gem. The food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You could tell everything was made fresh and with care. The flavors were on point and the portion size was perfect. The staff was super nice and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The vibe inside was cozy but still felt a little upscale, which I loved. Great spot for dinner if you’re looking for good Southern food with a creative touch. Definitely adding this to my list of places to go back to! ”
